Your Leader Biography:
About your Leader, Erin Cathcart:
After participating in the Millennial Falcons Birdathon team since 2014, Erin is thrilled to be assuming the role of Team Leader this year! Naturalist and Environmental Educator by trade, Erin has had a deep connection with nature since a very young age, spending time outside learning, teaching, and playing across Oregon during her time with Oregon State University, the MESD Outdoor School program, and Friends of Tryon Creek, among others. It was not until her first Birdathon, however, that she really started developing a passion for the hobby. While still considering herself a novice birder, Erin loves collaborative learning: celebrating the expertise of others and helping people come together to share knowledge, ideas, and birding expertise - at any level! Working with past team leaders Brandon Lampkin and Robin Juskowiak, Erin is looking forward to continuing to help welcome birders of all kinds for a fun day of nature, birding, and community building!
